Bentley Golf Club expects its members, their guests and visitors to dress in line with a modern day Members Golf Club. It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions

In the Clubhouse

  • Clean Soft Spiked Golf Shoes may be worn in the Spikes Bar but please change shoes if using the lounge. No metal spiked shoes in the clubhouse and no hats.
  • Dirty, faded or torn clothing, trainers and flip flops are not appropriate.
  • Please do not wear any wet or soiled clothing.
  • Football/rugby style shirts, tops with hoods, beach shorts, football shorts. ¾ length trousers or cargo shorts/trousers are not permissible.

On the Course

Recognised Golfing attire must be worn on the Golf Course
  • SHIRTS – At all times tucked into waistband of trousers or shorts
    Ladies tops may be worn outside of trousers, skirts or shorts
  • SHORTS – always tailored and respectable length but not below the knee or three-quarter length
  • SOCKS – Must be worn with Golf Shoes and preferably white
    HATS – Must be worn the correct way around
