| We are a Members Club which means that the club is run for the benefit of the Members, any profit the club makes is invested back into the club to improve the quality of your club. |
| Regular Capital Investment for Course improvements. Recently we have completed the refurbishment of the 2nd and 18th tee as well as installing additional drainage. We have recently completed the project to tarmac all the paths. Last year we invested over £50,000 on projects including the new 12th Green. This year we are investing another £50,000 on the course, mainly on enlarging and upgrading some tees, which was highlighted in the recent member survey. |
| We don’t use temporary Greens yet have some of the best greens in the region throughout the season, regular positive feedback from Visitors as well as the members themselves supports this. |
| No tee booking system enables members to turn up and play, Society booking (from 11.30am) are communicated to members weekly to help them plan their golf. Saturday is for members only and Sundays until 1pm. |
| We have two loops of 9 that enables different starting holes and with the 5th and 12th close to the clubhouse it is ideal for playing just a few holes especially after work in the summer. |
| Regular Competitions throughout the year with opportunities to meet and play with new people. Some Serious – Some Fun – Some Serious Fun! |
| All Members can trial for various Team Competitions, against other clubs, dependant on handicap. All members are able to get a club handicap. |
| Practice field with balls available to hire from the Pro shop, Practice Driving Net and Large Putting Green. |
| Fully stocked Pro Shop and Full Time Professional to help with all your golfing needs, from coaching and re-gripping your clubs to helping purchase your next set of clubs. |
| ‘SARG’ – Sunday Afternoon Reciprocal Golf. During summer times, from 2pm, Full members can play at Upminster and Romford Golf Clubs for free! This has now been extended to include Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. |
| The Clubhouse is open daily from 8.30am for home cooked food with daily specials as well as the usual golfers’ favourites. A well-stocked bar is ready for you before and after your round. Members get 10% off food and drink. |
| Members still have the opportunity to buy into the club through the purchase of Shares which has the benefit of cheaper membership (more information available from the office) |
